How does a private DefenseBien session work?

The session begins with a simple warm-up of about 5 minutes to prepare the body. Next, the instructor conducts a quick technical review to ensure that the concepts from the previous session have been well assimilated. Once this stage is validated, the learning of the new techniques of the day begins, fully tailored to the student's personalized program. Finally, when the student reaches a certain level, the session concludes with a technical practice directly with the instructor. No special sports equipment is required. Since these are fully personalized private lessons, your instructor will provide you with all necessary instructions in advance if specific equipment is needed.

What kind of atmosphere will I find at the LutteBien club?

Our goal is to promote a martial arts practice culture focused on its benefits for both body and mind. You will meet people who share this same philosophy and the values we promote at the club: friendship, respect, health, confidence, self-improvement, and gratitude.

Do I need to be in shape to train at LutteBien?

You don't need to be in shape to get started. The exercises are accessible to all fitness levels. The trainer guides you to stay within your ideal effort zone. For BoxeBien and LutteBien, the routine changes every week to avoid monotony, as the technical range is very broad in both activities. On the other hand, for DefenseBien, you benefit from a fully personalized private lesson where you progress at your own pace, as soon as the instructor validates proper mastery of the techniques. We recommend working at your own pace, and if you are tired, you can pause at any time to rest. Furthermore, one of our instructor's main roles, beyond technical instruction, is to ensure everyone trains within their ideal effort zone. This guarantees that every session is both effective and enriching, while remaining a great experience.

Does what we do work for self-defense?

Our group activities, BoxeBien and LutteBien, are focused on health rather than combat. We prefer to say they do not serve directly for self-defense, although improving your physical condition can always help in an emergency. On the other hand, our DefenseBien program, delivered under the exclusive supervision of an instructor, is designed as an effective self-defense system, provided you acquire the necessary knowledge and dedicate adequate practice time. It is important to note that self-defense effectiveness remains subjective, as it ultimately depends on each individual and multiple external factors.

At what age can I start training?

To guarantee the unique and serene atmosphere promised by practicing at our club, members must be at least 18 years old. However, if there is sufficient demand, specific time slots may be introduced in the future for "Youth" and "Kids" categories.

Can I sign up on any day?

Yes, you can sign up on any day and start whenever you like, as each session is independent.

What happens if I book a session and cannot attend?

What gear should I bring for my trial session?
